In my opinion, one of the best 1:1 fake Omega Speedmasters, aside from the Moonshine Gold model, is the Speedmaster Calibre 321. During our Speedmaster World Cup series in 2020, in which our readers voted for the most desirable Speedmaster, the Calibre 321 stole the show. Admittedly, the Swiss made fake Omega Speedmaster Calibre 321 is a hard watch to get, and if you can, it’s quite expensive (retail is €16,700 today). But I bought mine when it just came out in 2020, before all the price increases. Perhaps the movement is not as innovative as the caliber 3861, but being able to get the caliber 321 back to Omega (it was with Breguet for many years) and deciding to finally bring it back on the market after its discontinuation in 1968 is quite something.
The fact that high quality super clone Omega used the actual 105.003 from the last Apollo mission in 1972 to recreate the new Speedmaster Calibre 321 with its 39.7mm case makes it a perfect story as well. All these Calibre 321 models are assembled by hand in a special workshop in Biel, Switzerland. It’s a completely separate operation from the highly automated assembly line for nearly any other Omega replica for sale.
This watch pays tribute to top copy Omega’s Speedmaster legacy in the best way possible while being a modern watch that’s suitable for everyday wear. And for me, with the things I am doing (and not doing) daily, it’s the perfect GADA watch!

For some, the perfect super clone Omega Speedmaster will be the only watch they’ll ever buy. And in fact, it is very suitable to be someone’s only watch. Contrary to what people think, you can swim with a modern 1:1 fake Omega Speedmaster Professional (but not dive) as long as you have its gaskets checked every year. Now, when I am in a pool, I hardly see anyone wearing a watch (and why would you?). Regardless, it is possible with the Speedmaster, but if you fancy a dive, you should wear another watch. If you do have the Hesalite version, it is always possible to buff out the scratches yourself. In the end, you can also have the crystal replaced during a service.

Oh, let me also say that the Swiss made replica Omega Speedmaster Professional looks fantastic on both men and women. Despite the 42mm size of the Professional version, it looks terrific on most wrists.

Save for an absolutely perfect vintage example, this is the best 1:1 fake Omega Speedmaster money can buy. It is what this watch has been destined to be and is the ultimate representation of a design that has slowly gotten better and better over the course of more than half a century.

Even if you don’t subscribe to the old Hodinkee theory that every watch collection should include a perfect replica Omega Speedmaster, you should at least have a chronograph. As someone who needs a modern watch in the box and is partial to black dials for frequent wear, the new caliber 3861 luxury fake Omega Speedmaster is the one for me. And of course, hesalite crystal to keep my vintage-inclined heart beating away.

When it’s really pouring I can grab this instead of the 1016. Sure it doesn’t have a screw-down crown, but I can say in my six years of vintage AAA fake Omega Speedmaster ownership, I’ve never had a waterproofing issue (ok, I’m not swimming with it on). A brand-new Speedy would be even better than my 1969 spec. Cost: $6,500. Remaining: $63,500
